Think and Grow Rich (PDF)

Well the title is true. Unless you are a child, everything you have as an adult, successes and failures, wealth and debts are an accumulation of what you thought of yourself. If you think you are unworthy of love, success, and happiness your professional and private life reflects that reality. This book was written by Napoleon Hill. Napoleon Hill sat down with the tycoons of  his time and interviewed them. All of their interviews said the same thing,”I think, therefore I am.” This book was written in 1937 but is very relevant today.

The Art of War (PDF)

Are you tired of losing at work and in your private life?  Do you ever wonder why mediocre people get promoted while you don’t? The truth is that they know how to navigate the halls of power and win and you don’t. It is not your fault. You were not taught because those people were not taught. It is time to change that. Why not learn from SunTzu? He was one of the greatest military strategists of our time.

The 48 Laws of Power (PDF) and Mastery (Update Mastery is no longer free)

Let’s face it. Black American women were for the most part raised by the ancestors’ former slaves who thought like slaves. That maid, mammy and servant mentality has been passed down from generation to generation. What is the maid, mammy and servant mentality? It is performing work without expecting returns. Not demanding or expecting reciprocity. Caping for those, specifically Black men and nonBlacks, who wouldn’t spit on you if your ass was on fire. Staying in perpetual victim mode.  Saving others when you do not have to tools to save yourself. Expecting others or a deity to save you instead of saving yourself. Not believing you deserve, have and can wield power. I could go on. Robert Greene’s 48 Laws of Power and Mastery knocks you out of that stupor. No, I do not want you to become a sociopath but I do want you to know how their minds work and how to no longer to be a victim of them.

How to win friends and influence people (PDF)

This book was published by Dale Carnegie in 1937 and is still very useful today. The Black women have power and need to learn how to use it. I am not asking you to sell out. I am asking you not to sell yourself short. Be strategic! Remember that episode of the Chappelle Show “When Keeping it Real Goes Wrong.” Well it is true. Keeping it real will only keep you broke.  Finding and keeping allies in high places will take you to as far as you want to go.
