Let’s be honest. Aren’t we surprised that he decided to actually use Tika Sumpter, an actual Black woman to play Michelle Obama? I won’t lie. I was. We know how Hollywood wants to get rid of Black women darker than a paper bag. Remember biracial Harriet Tubman and Black face Nina Simone? I do! Bravo to John Legend for getting both roles right. It’s refreshing to see. Anyways, will you go see it?
