While I am at it, guess who has been nominated for Golden Globe Awards for Django Unchained and guess who has not? After all, this movie’s main character was a Black slave. Ever see the trailer for the movie where they mention that Django Unchained was nominated for five Golden Globes but they never mention who? Here is why:

It’s your choice! You don’t have to see the movie or buy the dolls last I heard. Don’t you understand the dice are loaded in Hollywood? I retired from there! I was the only black person on the crew most of the time unless it was on a black show! None of this is surprising to say the least. It is not a level playing field! Will not be, in our lifetime, I’m afraid.
Here in lies the problem, it’s not like their aren’t enough powerful in position AA, that could write produce, and act several roles, to tell our story our way. What’s keeping us or them from stepping up and being responsible, telling Black American history????

Hold your outrage for the truly outrageous. Action figures are made for movies of cult status all the time. They’re collectibles. Do a little google. While it could be said, Django isn’t of cult status (yet), Tarantino is a director and writer of cult status.
These dolls aren’t by Mattel, they’re obviously not meant to date Barbie and live in the dream house.
