White man tells all on why White America won’t end racism! (Video & NSFW)

Normally I don’t post things like this, but this was too good to pass up. For once someone is telling the truth and for African-Americans this knowledge is power.

We all know racism is illogical, dangerous and antihuman. Well, the gentleman in the video below discusses the irrational basis for racism against African-Americans and why some White Americans believe in the myth of their supremacy. Don’t let his southern accent fool you. He is reaffirming what many of African-Americans have known for years and what some White Americans are afraid to admit. What I like is that he takes it a step further by challenging other White people to deal with ending racism because Anti-Black racism benefits them. What do you think?

Of course, White America doesn’t want to end racism. White Americans and those who identify as White benefit from the system much to the detriment of Blacks and other minorities. And White Americans and those who identify as White don’t want to let go of their privilege.

You see White Americans benefit from having their race represented endlessly in the media and having more opportunities to receive better education, jobs and upward mobility in society. Blacks and other minorities don’t have that luxury. Many of us are still in poverty due to socio economic factors that placed us there as well as institutionalized racism. But many of us don’t realize the extend of how institutionalized racism benefits Whites and disenfranchises Blacks and other minorities.

And if White America were to end racism today, which I know will never happen, everyone in society will have to compete on an equal leveled field. And White Americans don’t want that because it takes away from their privilege.

42 years in the Federal government and I tell you, Institutional racism is very much alive and well. While the Federal government prides itself in employing “minorities,” it is a slight-of-hand-statistic. Yes, the agency in which I worked employed African Americans, but several things could easily be observed.

    (1) They were either janitors or security guards under contract.

    (2) Persons not in positions of senior management.

While serving with the Foreign Service (State Department) as a Foreign Service Officer in Africa, I was astounded at how aggressive State Department policy was in recruiting White people to serve as U.S. Ambassadors in the African countries.

I served at a post where there were only two Americans, myself being the second American and second in charge. I was the first African American Supervisor/Manager at this posts’ 25-year existence. The Africans with whom I had responsibility for, never had any interactions with Black Americans and were fed lies by the White Managers and Supervisors that racism in America was non-existent. They were made to fear White people. They were being beaten down mentally. I come on the scene and educated them on how things are in America for Black people. I instilled confidence, pride, and courage on my watch there.

Many of them could not believe that I was not afraid of my White Supervisor as I stood up to him on their behalf man-to-man. Many of them drew strength from my example and began to hold their heads up high. I received outstanding performance evaluations and was told I would take over the Management of that post. I was set up and lied on in the worst and under-handed way which was “true form” for the White powers that be who felt that my presence at that post was a threat to their power and control of the African staff and even me.

After three years at this African post, they decided not to keep me there – which came as a shock – and the Agency resorted back to maintaining “Whiteness” over the Africans there.

Needless to say, the African staff was devastated when they heard the news that I was no longer to be their boss, but another White man. Wow! White people kicking me out of Africa for no reason, the land from which my ancestors came. I filed an EEO Complaint and soon learned that EEOC is in bed with Federal Agency, under-staffed and under-budgeted and my case was not really “high-profile” enough. EEOC serves to protect the Agency from paying out exorbitant settlement fees if found guilty of violating any of the bases of discrimination. It is an ineffective organization as far as I am concerned. They only pretend to be on your side.

Racism is about the exercise of power and control over a people, and the maintenance of it. America is racist and White Supremacist at the core and has no intention of changing the status quo.

If America was not in such a state, things would have changed long ago. Here it is today, we are still discussing race.

An interesting statistic that underscores the true nature of America (a statistic rarely discussed but is most telling). There are 54 countries in Africa. (There would be 55 but Egypt does not consider itself African) Out of the 54 countries, there are 52 U.S. Embassies. Thus, 52 U.S. Ambassadors. Out of the 52 U.S. Ambassadors, only 4 are African American. The remaining are White men and women! (There are 1 Asian male and 1 Asian female).

I am writing a book about this experience. It is deep and paints a picture of how certain powerful elements within White America and the government really feel about Black people.

I think my book will equate to the experience Marsha Coleman-Adebayo had at Environmental Protection Agency. Our Federal Government is a cesspool of institutional racism and White supremacy. They are very skillful at skewing statistics, buying “Negroes,” keeping their “handwork” under a lid, and making Black people employed by the Federal government afraid to talk about it with volume in their voices because of the paycheck and benefits.

What hurts the most was hearing my Black colleagues tell me time and time again how wrong “those White folks up there did you” but would say it in private and in a whisper.

I persevered though and I did not allow them to break me. And, they really tried.
